Privacy Policy

What we collect

When you join the Alize waitlist or create an account, we collect your email address. If you connect your YouTube account (optional, Pro only), we access your public subscription list to personalize your digest. We do not access your watch history, private playlists, or any other YouTube data.

How we use it

• Send you your daily digest email
• Personalize which videos appear in your digest
• Send transactional emails (confirmations, account changes)
• Notify you when Alize launches (waitlist only)

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Ever.

Third-party services

We use the following services to operate Alize:

• Supabase — database and authentication
• Resend — email delivery
• Stripe — payment processing (Pro plan)
• Vercel — web hosting

Each service processes data according to their own privacy policies. We do not share more data than necessary for each service to function.

YouTube data

If you connect your YouTube account, we request read-only access to your public subscriptions. OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM. You can disconnect your YouTube account at any time from your settings page, which immediately deletes your stored tokens.

Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you unsubscribe, we stop sending emails immediately and mark your account as inactive. You can request full deletion of your data by emailing us.

Cookies

We use only essential cookies required for authentication. We do not use tracking cookies, analytics pixels, or third-party advertising scripts.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. To make a request, email hello@alize.me.
